Inveneo Leads Pacific Islands Workshop on Grant Proposals Development in Vanuatu

In June of this year the Information Society Innovation Fund (ISIF Asia) hosted a grant proposal writing workshop in Vanuatu, Led by Inveneo. The workshop was held in partnership with the Vanuatu Internet Exchange (VIX) with the goal of providing participants with the skills required to seek funding from potential donors with effective grant proposals and improving the quality of grant submissions from the pacific islands.

The two-day workshop covered a range of topics relevant to grant proposal writing as well as how to apply for ISIF Asia grants and awards. Topics included:

  • Understanding the problem
  • Defining specific activities & building a good budget
  • Project outcomes
  • Formulating methods
  • Crafting a persuasive credibility statement
  • Defining the problem you intent to address
