mission*social is located at 972 Mission Street. It features an open loft layout with hardwood floors and a freight elevator combined with access to video conference rooms, high-speed Internet, and a full kitchen -- making mission*social fast and easy to move into.
But the major benefit of mission*social is the ability to work alongside cutting-edge social enterprises like Samasource, Catapult Design, and Inveneo, sharing ideas, tips, and advice in person... As Google confirms:
Information is shared most easily and effectively among office neighbors, even at an Internet company where instant messaging and e-mail are generally preferred to face-to-face discussion.
You can join us in mission*social in one of three ways:
- SOCIAL ENTERPRISE SPACE: Our overall aim is to increase the long-term social capital at mission*social so we're renting out space to social enterprises at $2.00-$2.20 per square foot. This is highly competitive on a per-foot basis, even without considering the company you'll keep. You also get great flexibility in the use of your space (i.e. bring your own furniture)
- CO-WORK SPACE: For those just starting out, or still small, mission*social offers dedicated desk space on a per-desk basis (1 person per desk) for $300 per month. You get the same benefits as Social Enterprises, but without the need to configure your space.
- TRAVELER DROP-IN SPACE Are you a social entrepreneur headed to San Francisco and looking for a base for a day or two? mission*social offers free workspace for out-of-town visitors on a space-available basis. Advanced registration & reservation required.
