Inveneo ICT Partner Certification Training

As part of our goal of building a partner program that can scale worldwide, Inveneo has partnered with The Center to Bridge the Digital Divide (CBDD) at Washington State University to develop a high-impact, open-source curriculum based on Inveneo’s technical input.

This curriculum material was produced in collaboration with USAID, Washington State University, and Inveneo.

The ICIP training is presented in the form of one week of advanced training, classroom instruction covering applied theory, problem solving, and specific technology solutions and options. This is followed by a second week of advanced, applied training where the student/partner participates in an actual solution deployment. By combining classroom training with field training, it is Inveneo's goal to ensure that our skilled partners are ready to be certified to implement rural projects on their own after the training.

The ICIP course curriculum focuses on design, deployment and support of rural ICT systems. Training covers five key solution areas; IT networking, long-distance wireless (WiFi) networking, Linux/Open Source desktop and network management, VoIP system design, and IT power solutions.

In addition to the course curriculum, the Inveneo ICT partner certification process involves appropriate recruiting and selection mechanisms, hands-on field training, robust certification processes, and ongoing partner-support and management systems. The goal of the Inveneo Certified ICT Partner (ICIP) program is designed to deliver rapid results on the ground.
