Inveneo Certified ASUS Eee Desktop and Laptop Computers
As a new addition to our current product line, Inveneo and our Inveneo Certified Local Partners now have a direct distribution agreement with ASUS to resell ASUS Eee Box desktop and Eee PC laptop computers in Africa. This allows Inveneo Certified ICT Partners to sell new products in Africa, with ASUS’ standard one-year warranty.
One of the key reasons Inveneo chose the ASUS line is that all of the systems listed above are 12-volt computers, so they can run and charge off of a 12-volt input (other laptops with a 19-volt power supply might run on a 12-volt input, but it will not charge the battery). The ASUS products are also exceptionally affordable. Additionally, all of the ASUS products listed above are available with either Windows XP or Linux operating systems.
While these products make powerful additions to the Inveneo product line, they do require more power (16 watts for the EeeBox B202 versus 8 watts for the fit-PC Slim).
